There’s a famous Bezos-ism that I think about a lot:
“Your margin is my opportunity.”
The idea is that wherever there’s inefficiency in a system, there’s an opportunity for someone to build something better.
Status meetings are exactly that. They are pure margin. They’re organizational overhead. And the opportunity is to replace them entirely with something that is async, consistent, and… let me say it… AI-generated.
