👋 Hello, I’m Vibhor, and welcome to the 🔒 subscriber-only edition 🔒 of my weekly Training Series powered by Winning Strategy. Every week, I answer two reader questions and publish 2 posts about Agile Products, Role-Based Skills, and anything else that you need answered about your Career Growth. You can send me your questions here.

On to this week’s question.

Q: Hi Vibhor, I hope you’re doing well. I’m a Scrum Master recently assigned to lead a team that is new to Agile. After analyzing the team’s processes, workflow, and work intake system, I believe they would benefit most from adopting a Kanban framework. While I have some experience with Kanban, I’ve never delivered a presentation to introduce it to a team, especially one transitioning to Agile. Could you please guide me by sharing a sample presentation or providing advice on key areas to focus on?

Thank you for the question.

I have a training deck that some of my friends have used in the past. The deck is designed to help teams new to Agile quickly get started with Kanban.

Since you mentioned your team is transitioning to Agile, I believe this deck can help you help your team get up to speed.

Your team will learn the following:

  1. basics of Kanban

  2. why use Kanban

  3. how to set a custom Kanban board

  4. how to set WIP limits

  5. how to set various policies and conditions

  6. examples and exercises
