Most teams try to guess.
There is nothing wrong with guessing, except that it may prove quite costly.
Very few teams treat complexity like the Apollo trajectory problem.
For them, “complexity” IS NOT a gut feeling.
They use different systems and techniques to assess and then estimate Complexity.
